Learn more about what makes Aura One special

The active ingredient in Aura One is hydrogen peroxide. Used for over 30 years in dental bleaching, peroxide is the safest and most effective molecule for whitening teeth.

Peroxide used in the concentration found in Aura One does not cause any damage to enamel. At 6%, the hydrogen peroxide works quickly whilst still being gentle on your teeth.

Peroxide oxidises large staining molecules, breaking them down into small colourless particles. This gives the tooth a whiter appearance.

Aura One whitens your teeth gradually. You maintain control and can stop the whitening once you’ve reached your desired level. Research shows that gradual whitening with trays is more effective and longer lasting than all other methods.

When whitening for the first time with Aura One, full results are typically achieved within 14 to 30 applications in total. Depending on your protocol, this can range from 1 week to 4 weeks.

Aura One is a semi-permanent whitening treatment. Once your first cycle is complete your teeth can stay whiter for over 10 years. You can perform top-ups (1-3 applications) every 6-12 months or as needed however.

Standard Protocol

Suitable for most users. Achieve quick results with minimal sensitivity. Recommended start protocol.

Accelerated Protocol

For users who want quick results in as little as one week. Risk of sensitivity is slightly increased therefore this protocol is not recommended for users with very sensitive teeth.

Sensitive Protocol

For users with particularly sensitive teeth. Results will take longer to achieve but sensitivity will be reduced to a minimum.

Preparing and using your trays

Follow these easy steps to prepare and use your custom trays for an effective teeth whitening experience with Aura One

Brush and floss your teeth before each whitening treatment

Remove end cap and screw in the applicator tip

Fill each bubble with a small dot of gel. Only a small amount is required.

Insert your trays over your top and bottom teeth and press lightly to disperse the gel

Set a timer for 60 minutes, or your desired treatment time

Don't forget to put your gel syringe back in the fridge

Remove trays and rinse mouth thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove any gel remnants.

Rinse your trays under cold water to remove any left-over gel and dry before storing in your Smart Case. Do not use hot water as this can cause trays to deform!

Load your Treatment Centre and record your application in the tracker

Repeat daily or every second day according to your chosen protocol until desired results achieved

Keeping track of the number of applications is crucial for achieving optimal teeth whitening results with Aura One.

The number of applications directly impacts the effectiveness and longevity of your teeth whitening results. Typically, 14 to 30 applications are needed to reach your desired level of whitening and ensure long-lasting results.

The digital treatment centre features an easy-to-use application tracker that allows you to record each time you complete a whitening session. Simply click on the plus button after each application to update your progress.

Here’s how you can maintain your new whiter smile after completing your Aura One treatment.

To maintain your whitened teeth, consider performing top-up treatments as needed, typically 1-3 applications once or twice per year.

Maintain a consistent oral hygiene routine, including brushing and flossing daily, to prevent new stains from forming on your teeth.

Clean and store your custom trays in their case when not in use, ensuring they are not squished or deformed. This will help preserve their shape and effectiveness for future top-up treatments.

Schedule regular dental check-ups and cleanings to ensure your teeth and gums remain healthy, and to address any potential issues early on.
